The strength of WellSpring Pharmaceutical Canada stems from its founder Dr. Vukovich, certainly no stranger to the world of pharmaceuticals. His expertise in Drug Development has been perfected in a number of multinational pharmaceutical firms, including Warner Lambert, Bristol-Myers Squibb and the Revlon Health Care Group. During this time, Dr. Vukovich was personally responsible for the remarkable development and commercialization of 40 new chemical entities.

In 1983, utilizing his 17 years experience, Dr. Vukovich founded Roberts Pharmaceutical Corporation, serving as Executive Chairman and CEO until 1998.

A year later, Dr. Vukovich laid the cornerstone of what is now WellSpring Pharmaceutical Canada Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the WellSpring Pharmaceutical Corporation.

As WellSpring Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Vukovich capitalized on a prime growth opportunity by purchasing the Roberts/Shire facility in Oakville, Ontario Canada in July 2001.  A key reason was the focused leadership of Bonnie Feeney, V.P. Technical Operations. With over 25 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry, Bonnie Feeney had earned her reputation. She had followed a career path that included Business Unit Director at Searle Pharmaceutical (a division of Monsanto), with the ultimate responsibility for the Canadian Plant Operations Division.

Dr. Vukovich showed his confidence in Bonnie Feeney by appointing her President and Chief Operating Officer of WellSpring Pharmaceutical Canada Corp.

Under the direction of the senior management team, the WellSpring business strategy is to grow the Corporation through the continued development of the Contract Services Business in a manner that improves the profitability of its customers.

To accomplish this goal, WellSpring provides clinical and commercial manufacturing of Solids, Semi-Solids, and Non-Sterile liquids as well as packaging in a variety of presentations. All backed by highly skilled and experienced pharmaceutical professionals in all areas of their Health Canada and FDA audited facility.
